At BodyKit Tuning, your satisfaction is our priority. The policy below explains when you can return a product, how refunds are processed, and what to expect from us at every step. By placing an order on bodykittuning.com you confirm that you have read and agreed to these terms.
1. Return Eligibility
Products Eligible for Return
- The product must be returned in its original packaging, sealed and unopened.
- If the product has been used, fitted to a vehicle, or its original packaging has been opened, we will decline the refund and return the product to you, unless there is a clear manufacturing defect.
- If the product is faulty due to a manufacturing defect, all original accessories, brackets, harnesses and packaging must be returned with it.
Clear-Cut Exclusions
We respect your decisions, and that’s why we clarify certain scenarios up front:
- If you have confirmed product details with our sales team — including photos, specifications, chassis code (e.g. FJ200, W464, Y62) and year range — and later change your mind after purchase, we cannot accept the return. Your initial confirmation holds final weight, ensuring transparency in our transactions.
- If a product has been specially ordered from our supplier or manufacturer at your request, we cannot process a return unless a manufacturing issue is evident. This maintains the integrity of our offerings and ensures a smooth experience for all parties.
Electrical and Electronics Parts
Electrical and electronic items — including LED tail lamps and headlamps, DVD / Apple CarPlay infotainment systems, electric side steps, multi-function steering controls and roof lamps — can only be returned if they are unused, sealed and in their original packaging. Once an electrical item has been opened, wired, coded or fitted to a vehicle it is not eligible for a refund. Manufacturing defects on these items are covered separately under our 1-year warranty (see Section 7).
Custom and Made-to-Order Items
The following items are non-returnable once production has started: custom upholstery and VIP seat builds, body kits or conversion kits painted to your vehicle’s colour code, and any product modified or finished to your personal specification. You will be advised at the point of order if your item falls under this category.
2. Return Window
Unless otherwise specified, BodyKit Tuning offers a return window of seven (7) days from the date you receive your shipment, in case of returnable products. Returns requested after this period cannot be accepted.
3. Terms and Conditions for Accepting Returns
- The product must be returned in its original packaging, sealed and unopened.
- If the product has been used, fitted, or its original packaging opened, we will decline the refund and return the product to you.
- For products covered by a manufacturer warranty, customers must contact the manufacturer (or BodyKit Tuning support, who will liaise with the manufacturer) for warranty-related issues. Such products are not eligible for standard returns.
- A product will not be accepted as returned until you are notified that it has been approved for return.
- Shipping and cash-on-delivery (COD) fees are non-refundable once the item has been delivered to you, unless there is a manufacturing defect.
- For refunds processed through card payments or bank transfers, any non-refundable transaction or administrative fees charged by the payment provider will not be reimbursed. The refunded amount will reflect the original purchase amount minus any such applicable fees.
4. Refund Process
Refunds will be issued only through the original mode of payment and will be processed within 10 to 45 days, depending on the issuing bank of the card or the receiving bank for transfers. Cash-on-delivery payments will be refunded by bank transfer to an account in your name.
5. Process Upon Receiving a Return Request
It may take up to one week, depending on your location, for a returned product to reach us. Once the item arrives at our facility, please allow up to two (2) business days for us to receive and process the return. After processing, it may take a further seven (7) to fourteen (14) business days for the refund to be credited to your original payment method. The refund is always subject to the condition of the returned product.
6. General Conditions Applicable to All Returns
BodyKit Tuning reserves the right to return a product to the customer if it does not meet any of the guidelines above. You will not be entitled to any refund if the product is not eligible for return.
If a product is declined for a return request at any stage, we will make two (2) attempts to deliver the product back to you. If both attempts are unsuccessful, we will hold the product for three (3) business days at our delivery hub. You may request another delivery attempt within those three business days. If no such request is received, the item will be sent for liquidation and you will not be able to claim delivery of the product again.
7. Warranty on Electrical Items
All electrical items — LED tail lamps and headlamps, DVD / Apple CarPlay infotainment systems, electric side steps, multi-function steering controls and roof lamps — carry a one (1) year warranty against manufacturing defects from the date of delivery. The warranty does not cover damage caused by incorrect fitting, water ingress from off-road or pressure washing, voltage spikes, modifications to the wiring loom, or any tampering with the unit. To make a warranty claim, contact us with your order number, photos of the defect and a short description of the symptoms.
Important Notice: Fitment, Product Information and Shipping Terms
Fitment and product detail confirmation. All product information on our website — including images, weight, specifications, replacement part numbers and vehicle fitment details — is provided for reference only. We strongly recommend that you verify fitment and product details with our expert team on WhatsApp before making a purchase. To ensure accuracy, please provide your vehicle’s chassis number when contacting us.
Product availability and pricing. We make every effort to ensure the accuracy of stock information and pricing displayed on our website. However, product availability and prices are subject to change without prior notice due to unforeseen circumstances. While we strive to maintain competitive pricing and reliable stock, we appreciate your understanding if unexpected changes occur.
Order cancellation rights. We reserve the right to cancel any order under circumstances beyond our control, such as inventory discrepancies, logistical challenges or unforeseen issues. In the event of a cancellation, we will notify you promptly and explore alternative solutions to meet your needs.
Shipping terms and conditions. Shipping charges to GCC and international destinations do not include customs duties, taxes or any additional fees imposed by the destination country. Customers are responsible for covering these costs, which vary by destination. We recommend familiarising yourself with your local import policies to avoid unexpected charges. UAE deliveries do not attract customs charges.
Frequently Asked Questions on Refunds
Q1. How does BodyKit Tuning handle refunds after a return is collected?
After we collect the item from you, it undergoes a thorough inspection. Once it passes quality control, the refund is initiated to the original payment source:
- Credit/debit card payments are refunded to the same card.
- Bank-transfer payments are refunded by bank transfer to the originating account.
- Cash-on-delivery payments are refunded by bank transfer to an account in your name (we will request the IBAN at the point of return approval).
Q2. What if I paid cash on delivery?
Cash-on-delivery refunds are processed by bank transfer to an account held in your name. We do not refund cash in person.
Q3. Can I exchange an item instead of getting a refund?
Yes. If you ordered the wrong fitment or want to swap for a different style (for example, a different tail-lamp design for the same vehicle), contact us within the 7-day return window. The item must be unused, unfitted and in original packaging. You will be responsible for any price difference between the two items.
Q4. How can I stay updated on my refund status?
You can check the status of your refund by signing into your account at bodykittuning.com, or by contacting our support team with your order number. We will confirm each stage — return received, inspection passed, refund issued — by email or WhatsApp.
Q5. Why have I only received part of the refund amount?
Refunds are processed item by item, so you may see part of the amount refunded while the rest is still being processed. Shipping and COD fees are also non-refundable once the order has been delivered, unless the return is due to a manufacturing defect.
Q6. My refund status hasn’t updated. What should I do?
If the processing time for your payment method has passed and you still don’t see the refund, contact us with your order number and we will investigate with the payment provider.
